Responsibilities include:

                         Administration

Ø  Maintaining the server for any server related issues

Ø  Performance Tuning for all Batch and Ad-hoc reporting

                          Ø  Upgrading Cognos to newer versions 

Ø  Migrated Cognos from Unix to Windows VM environment 

Modeling

Ø  Modeling Metadata and building Packages

Ø  Implementing DMR (Dimensionally Modeled Relational Data) on the Relational Databases

Ø  Support for any modeling related issues

Reporting:

Ø  Creating Reports in Report Studio and Query Studio

Ø  Assisting Business Users in Creating Professional Reports

Required Skills:

2 years’ experience with IBM Cognos Business Intelligence 8.4.1

6 months experience with IBM Cognos Business Intelligence 10.1.1 

3 years Windows 2008 RE2

3 years’ experience with IIS 7

3 years SharePoint 2007

5 years exp MS Office 2007/2010

2 years exp with Minimum IE8/9 

3 years exp with Firefox 3.5.8, 

5 years exp with Oracle 9i, 10g and 11g, 

5 years SQL Developer 1.5.1 

5 years exp with Toad 9.0.1
