Configuation Manager

The individual must have at least 5 + years of CM experience developing and administering IBM's Rational Tool Suite

 
Hands-on experience in the administration of Rational ClearCase and in the use of Rational ClearQuest. 
Must be able to understand, create, and perform maintenance on baselines in ClearCase UCM in both Windows and UNIX environments. 
Will need to train developers in the use of ClearCase and ClearQuest. 
Experience in VOB creation and maintenance is required. 
Performing builds in UNIX environment with some scripting knowledge also is required.  This is a multiple application development and maintenance effort. Perform Unix and script programming function to support CM Process
Knowledge of other Rational tools such as RequisitePro and TestManager is useful. 
Knowledge of the SR5/SR6 and 7.1.x releases is needed.
Should have experience in understanding process steps in SDLC and to be able to work with users in a full life-cycle CM environment.  ITIL V3 understanding is helpful.
Individuals need to be able to operate independently and as a member of a team
Willing and required to support off-hours and on-call attendance
Ability to work with security and system administrators to resolve security issues, performance issues, stability issues
