The Software Developer will be responsible for maintenance and development of several web sites and applications. Position is full time with annual salary and full benefits. We are open to considering candidates with a wide range of experience levels.
 
Must have Skills:
1.) Proven Web Development experience, at least 5 of which are using LAMP technologies.
2.) Must have strong PHP 5. Must have OOP skills.
3.) Strong Web Development skills including Javascript, HTML, and CSS is required.
4.) A deep appreciation for Open Source technologies and a passion for the Internet.
5.) A desire to be a key part of building an industry leading service.
6.) Extensive Apache and SQL skills. Database optimization experience, MySQL preferred.
7.) BS in Computer Science or related.
8.) Drupal or other Enterprise Content Management Systems Development experience.
Pluses:
1.) A strong eye for design and/or graphic design capability, SEO knowledge, management experience.
2.) Experience developing a highly trafficked, consumer facing internet applications is a huge plus.
3.)Design and Develop Perl Applications to enhance and support the federal web based system, Perl Modules include: Perl CGI, CPAN, Perl DBI/DBD
4.) Experience with other web base programming languages such as Ruby, Java, C#, or Python.
