OACS Developer Requirements:
We are seeking qualified VBA, Microsoft Office developers to support a dynamic Federal government agency focusing on quality coding. Work Location: Alexandria, VA. Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident, and must be able to pass a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI).
Primary Skills
- Mandatory experience in developing Windows based VBA applications with MS Word, COM, DCOM, using VB6 and VB.NET.
- Experience developing .NET based ActiveX Components using Visual Basic .NET or C#.
- Experience developing, debugging, testing and implementing Windows-based Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic .Net, .Net COM Interop, MSXML parsers and XML.
- Experience developing and implementing Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 hosted Windows Services that interact with Adobe SDK and Windows Operating System using Microsoft Visual Basic .Net 2003 & 2005.
- Designing and developing Windows-based and IIS hosted Web applications that interact with Web Services, Classic ASP and Windows Services using VB.NET or C#.
- Developing Data Centric Classic ASP Web applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 2003/2007/ 2010, Windows XP, Windows 7 operating systems, and Rational Clearcase & Clearquest
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics or related field preferred
- 5 or more years of programming or testing experience
- Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems and software
- Experience working with relational databases to facilitate programming software
