Quotient is seeking a Programmer Analyst to lead the modification and implementation of features in new and existing software systems using Java, Oracle, and PL/SQL as well as test, validate and install new maps of DTDs as needed. 

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with system architects to design technical solutions.

Research new technologies and make recommendations about their applicability in development projects.

Participate in product requirements discussions to provide feedback on technical feasibility and options.

Troubleshoot and repair software systems, both collaboratively and individually.

Analyze and tune the performance of database applications.

Develop unit tests for software components.

Create documentation for use by other developers and internal customers.

Must have experience with the following technologies:

Java/ J2EE

Oracle (preferred)

XML/XSLT (XML Conversions preferred)

Linux/UNIX

Perl, or other scripting language

Experience with XML conversion and DTD's would be helpful

Experience with the following tools:

Eclipse

Toad/Oracle developer

CVS or other Source control tool
