VC++/.NET Developer

Location
Alexandria, VA

We are seeking qualified Visual C++ and .NET developers to support a dynamic Federal
government agency focusing on quality coding. Work Location: Alexandria,
VA.  Must be able to pass a
Minimum Background Investigation (MBI).

Primary Skills

• Mandatory experience with Visual C++, MFC, XML, .Net within Visual Studio 2002, Visual Studio .Net 2005, 2008 Development Environments, Oracle 9i/10g
• Experience with Microsoft Office Microsoft Office 2003/2007/ 2010, Windows XP, Windows 7 operating systems, Rational Software Architect and Rational Clearcase & Clearquest
• Experience with Pegasus and Stingray controls and Java Scripting a PLUS

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
• 5 or more years of experience in software engineering or operating systems programming
• Experience working with design and coding languages
• Experience working with software design principles
• Experience working with computer hardware

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients
