Quotient, Inc is currently looking for a web application developer to support our customer at the Smithsonian Institute.  Individual will support a data aggregation and normalization tool.  Individual should be well-versed in Java, SQL and HTML and have experience designing and maintaining web services and will also work with a variety of team members to support individual data visualization efforts using a common data aggregation service. Individual will also be required to conduct demonstrations of the application to Sr. Level management.

Required Skills:

·         Extensive experience with SQL, with particular emphasis on SQL Server and Oracle

·         Java and related technologies (Tomcat, JSP)

·         Experience writing and maintaining web services (JSON, XML, WSDL, etc.)

·         Experience designing and maintaining front-end websites using HTML, XHTML, CSS and Javascript

·         Version Control (SVN, Git, Hg)

·         Configuration management

·         Must be an excellent communicator (verbal and written skills).

·         Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.  

·         Must have bias for action, and experience making things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Desired Skills:

·         Experience with integrating services with Sharepoint a plus
