Quotient is expanding its content management service offerings to include Software as a Service (SaaS) vendor CrownPeak. The CrownPeak Advantage CMS is a hosted CMS solution that offers many of the standard features typically found in "for-purchase" CMS solutions at a fraction of the price. The solution is available to organizations of virtually any size (from 1,000 to 50,000+ assets).

Quotient worked with the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB) to migrate the existing Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) website, http://www.tsp.gov, into Serena Collage.
As was done with the FRTIB website, Quotient developed Collage templates to standardize styles and layouts throughout the site. Quotient then worked with Board staff to clean up content and move the site seamlessly into production. The TSP web site is also slated for redesign in the coming year.

Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems (NGES) deployed a refreshed site using the Serena Collage content mangement system. The site is available at http://www.es.northropgrumman.com.
Quotient worked with NGES staff to design and implement refreshed contribution templates used in the site. The new site consolidates several sub-sites into one consistantly-branded site across all of NGES' business units and the new templates also include many usability improvements for the NGES contributors.

Quotient Inc. is pleased to announce that the Electronic Systems sector of Northrop Grumman (NGES) selected Quotient to help automate the publication of content to their Internet site (http://www.es.northropgrumman.com) using the Serena Collage content management system.
Using NGES's existing Collage infrastructure, Quotient will develop new content templates with the goals of easing content contribution and making the site standards-compliant.
The work is scheduled to be completed in early 2008.

Quotient assisted the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) in launching their new site. The new site, www.aopa.org, is more organized and appealing. This is the first major update to the site in years. The content for the site is delivered entirely from the newly implemented Serena Collage CMS. This allows content owners to more efficiently update content on the site.
With a membership base of more than 413,000, or two-thirds of all pilots in the United States, AOPA is the largest, most influential aviation association in the world. Quotient Inc. is pleased to announce the award of a contract with the General Services Administration, Federal Supply Service (GSA/FSS) to perform usability testing on the Solicitation Writing System (SWS). Quotient’s Usability/Accessibility experts will conduct a review of the user interfaces and make recommendations for improvements to the SWS. The goal of the task is to create a user interface which captures all data necessary for a solicitation and creates a satisfying, efficient, and effective online user experience. Among the analyses and functions to be performed under this task are system flow and navigation, usability analysis & testing, analysis of business processes and integration into applications, and 508 compliance.

Quotient Inc. is pleased to announce the award of a base year contract plus five option years from the US Census Bureau for website management. Quotient will support the Internet data dissemination and collection activities of design, development, and implementation of web sites including www.census.gov and web applications. Quotient will support the development staff’s web application programming needs to include code review and optimization, as well as maintenance, upgrade, patching and configuration of software used for general web site support and production. Quotient will also support the implementation of polices and procedures pertaining to basic web design and style as well as provide technical and administrative guidance to Census Bureau managers.

Quotient will manage the content and design of the NIH Clinical Center website using an industry leading content management system. Quotient was awarded three new tasks as part of its continued support of United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) internet infrastructure. Quotient will be performing administration of the MQ Series and WebSphere Portal Systems. MQ Series is a messaging and transaction processing system. WebSphere portal is a collaboration tool for the 21st century workplace. Quotient will also be performing integration of the Documentum system. Documentum is a document management system designed to improve the publication and organization processes for organizations. Additionally, Quotient will be performing custom application and design for the PLUS system. PLUS is a bibliographic retrieval system used by the USPTO.

Quotient Inc. today received a contract award from National Library of Medicine's (NLM's) Office of Computers and Communications (OCCS) to fund experts in Human Factors and Usability Engineering for a research-based feasibility study. Entitled "Matching Search Technology to User Expectations," this award will fund important development in light of increased consumer and patient use of on-line health care information as well as the Federal Government's accelerated development and use of an electronic health information infrastructure.
Quotient Inc. will conduct exploratory studies focusing on user retrieval behavior specific to health related Web site applications. Additionally, Quotient will develop interface guidelines for Web site application design, collectively referred to as 'search'. This work is targeted to a largely ignored area of user interface design.
"Quotient’s approach emphasizes that meeting end-user requirements with strictly technology-centric solutions is not sufficient to provide a satisfying and informing user search experience. In light of the recent hurricanes striking the Gulf coast, Quotient has pledged corporate charity contributions to help the victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Donations will be made to charitable organizations including the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army. In addition, Quotient will be allocating resources directly to victims of these tragedies.
In a corporate memo sent out on September 15, Quotient CEO Clark Lare expressed, "Quotient takes its corporate social responsibility very seriously and we feel an obligation to do all we can ... Quotient plans to donate roughly $20,000 over the next several months."

Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT) today selected Quotient, Inc. to provide the implementation services for its Interwoven TeamSite installation. As part of the award, Quotient will work with Lockheed Martin to enable management of their public Internet site within TeamSite. Quotient will perform tasks to include data mapping, content migration, script development, template development, workflow development, and systems integration.

The article details the work of Roske-Shelton, a Usability and Human Factors Analyst and Quotient team member. Roske-Shelton has been performing and overseeing a broad range of usability testing for various National Library of Medicine web sites. She relates her findings and lessons learned from work performed over the past year.

Quotient, Inc. delivered a dynamic trade remedy investigation management tool to the United States International Trade Commission (USITC). The tool, which allows USITC investigators to manage their own investigation pages on USITC's web site, is built on Interwoven's TeamSite 6.5 content management platform.
Quotient developed a series of TeamSite workflows and templates—as well as a group of automated deployment scripts using Interwoven's OpenDeploy 6—to provide USITC with a straightforward, easy-to-use system. The project demonstrated Quotient's exceptional ability to handle complicated tasks in a limited amount of time, as the system was implemented in just over a month.
