Quotient Launches New Collections Search Web Site for the Smithsonian Institution

COLUMBIA, MD, November 9, 2009−On Monday, November 9, 2009, Quotient Inc. successfully launched the Smithsonian Institution's new Collections Search Center web site: http://collections.si.edu/. The Collections Search Center provides centralized searching to over 2 million of the Smithsonian's museum, archives, library and research holdings and collections.

Quotient redesigned the existing Collections Search Center with a focus on improving the visual aesthetic, usability, and appeal for students, teachers, scholars, researchers, and the general public. Quotient's design and development team created several unique design directions and partnered with the Smithsonian to increase accessibility and compliance as well as to enhance the site with an interactive slideshow framework.
