Accountant/Payroll Administrator

Quotient Inc is seeking an Accountant / Payroll Administrator to join our Accounting team at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MD. Payroll Administration includes payroll processing in Deltek Costpoint, data entry, coordinating with HR on new hires, terminations, employee updates, benefit and deduction changes, tax form changes and other reporting requests as well as provide accounts payable, invoicing and general ledger support for the accounting department.

Education & Qualifications

  • College degree or classes in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while ensuring integrity and accuracy of the data. Experience in basic accounting principles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience handling multi-state payroll a plus
  • Experience working with various types of accounting software desired
  • Previous experience with Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense desired
  • Experience with purchasing a plus


  • Accounting: 5 years, Payroll 3 years


  • Bachelor's or Experience equivalency acceptable
