Quotient in the News

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) has an annual tradition of honoring the people and programs that make NLM a wonderful and meaningful place to work and serve the American people.  This event recognizes colleagues who contributed solutions to tough problems, served the public or the Library in an exemplary way, and collaborated with others to further the NLM mission.  On December 13, 2016 at the Kirschstein Auditorium on the campus of the National Institutes of Health, the following Quotient Team members were recognized for their contributions:

The Quotient team acts with its clients' interests in mind at all times, but at times our positive influence extends beyond our customers.  James Boyle, a member of our team, contributes back to the open source community at large by providing accurate, useful information that allows upstream developers to quickly understand and resolve issues with their software.

September 28, 2016 – Quotient Inc’s Rebecca Bartlett recently participated in the UMBC Center for Women in Technology (CWIT) mentor program. As a mentor, she talked about the career planning process with the CWIT Scholars. Rebecca shared with the Scholars on how she started, moved through her career, and her experiences along the way.

September 24, 2016 marks the grand opening of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. In support of the museum opening, the Smithsonian Intitution Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has developed a content management system (CMS) and a series of APIs to facilitate the curation of customized content for the interactives within the museum. The CMS allows the museum to curate digital content for the interactives with existing digital collections and newly authored stories and/or content.

Columbia, MD – Quotient Inc. announces a contract awarded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center (CC) to provide web site support and assist the Office of Communications and Media Relations (OCMR) in meeting its core mission of using clinical research to translate laboratory discoveries into better treatments, therapies, and interventions to improve the nation’s health.
